Where To Watch: Spooky Movies for the Season
One of the most important decisions a college student can make is which streaming service they’re going to shell out $20 a month to for the opportunity to watch whatever slop they’re putting out these days (I’m looking at you, Netflix). Or, some more fortuitous students find ways to continue to leech off their parent’s-friend’s-second-cousin’s Max account from 634 miles away. No matter which category you fall into, any Reed student knows time is best not wasted on scrolling through the hundreds and hundreds of recommendations available on Hulu only to find everything looks unwatchable, or find themselves in the throes of some garden variety decision-making anxiety.
To make your decision process easier, I’ve picked some Halloween flicks and found out which streaming services they’re on. My criterion for including any given movie was that: I’ve watched and loved it; it’s generally considered to be a good movie; or, it looked like it was bad in a fun way. As they range from gory horror to campy fun, there’s bound to be something for you waiting!
