Tan Jackets Refuse to Die
In the midst of various scandals, gossip, and discourse, an article about tan jackets may seem frivolous. But I'm writing one anyway, because tan jackets simply refuse to die. If you looked up in Commons a month ago, it was nigh impossible to not see one. Even if you haven't been paying attention, you know the ones I'm talking about: brown, fleece or faux suede, often with a white fleece lining. Sort of a "Bob Dylan meets Christmas gift from your mom" vibe. As the weather gets warmer and the styles move on, tan jackets will ultimately die out. However, they've already outlasted my prediction of when they would stop being a thing by months. Like the last of the wooly mammoths, they appear to be making one final stand.
