Queditor Sacrificed

On a dark and stormy Wursday, raindrops glistening on the nearby leaves illuminated by the light from Commons, Queditor Finn walked home alone. He swayed slightly back and forth as he walked, sleep-deprived, hungry, and cold, blasting “Bring Me The Horizon” on his noise-canceling headphones. As he crossed the Bouncy Bridge, a cold gust of wind hit his face, causing him to look out into the trees. “Who’s there?” he called out into the night. Then BONK, a blunt object slammed into his head, knocking him out cold on the spot. When he came to hours later, his arms and legs tied to a wooden pentagram, water from cave stalactites dripping onto his face, he stared directly into the eyes of Anie Kotha, recently re-elected Queditor (and also his girlfriend :O). “Oh Anie thank God you’re here to save me, how the hell did I end up here?” he asked. “Finn you fool!” Anie screamed, her voice echoing off the walls of this subterranean prison. “You know how this works, for a Queditor to be rehired, they must absorb the energy from a previous one through ritual sacrifice!" “That’s like sooo incredibly rough,” Finn responded, “This is because I made you watch Saltburn, right?” Anie chuckled and slammed the knife into his throat, blood spraying onto the floor. As the life blinked out from his eyes, tendrils of brilliant white light pulsed out of him and into Anie. She inhaled deeply, savoring her re-obtained power. “Now, once more, the Quest is under my control!” she yelled, manically laughing. “Reed won’t even know what's coming…”
