Guardian of the Treasury

Name: Roland

Breed: Half Yellow Lab/ Half Heeler/Terrier mix

Age: 3 Years

Rating: 14/10

Actually, the title is a little misleading. Roland is a dog with not just one job, not just two jobs but four jobs! His job titles are “Guardian of the Treasury,” “Senior Executive Director of the Very Good Boys™,” “Assistant to the Associate to the VPT,” and “Vice President of Squirrel Chasing.” He spends most of his time in Eliot 303 next to the chapel listening to people coming through the halls! If he hears someone getting close, he will get up and start wagging his tail! He loves getting pets from people more than just about anything! Roland is also good friends with several of the other dogs in Eliot including Bruno, who was featured in November of 2022, and Frankie who was published way back in December of 2019! Sometimes, if he’s not getting the attention he wants, he will look at you and give you a little “awoowooowoo” just to make sure you know that he’s there and he would like some pets please! Roland lives at home with two human siblings and one cat sibling. He gets along well with all of them, except sometimes the cat sibling is a little rude. However, he wants to make it clear that he is NOT interested in another sibling. He is not a huge fan of small puppies since he thinks he should be the only puppy around! One thing he’s also not a fan of is people making fun of his ears! When someone tells him that his ears are too small, he sometimes barks at them because they’re not! They are perfectly normal sized ears! 14/10, he’s got perfectly sized ears.
