Senate Job Fair Employs Students

By Sam King

The Reed College Job Fair welcomed Reedies to the Student Union on Monday to discuss on-campus employment opportunities. The event, which was organized by the Student Senate, began a little after 10 am and lasted until early afternoon. Representatives of the Student Senate offered assistance applying for the five jobs on offer that morning, including Bike Co-Op Manager and Renn Fayre Czar – although the students seemed more interested in the breakfast spread provided to applicants. Both hot and cold coffee were available, including a seasonally appropriate pumpkin spice mix, as well as an assortment of pastries. (The doughnut holes were unremarkable, but the French-style beignets exceeded expectations.)
