Many Ways to Read the Quest

When the Quest was first printed in 1913, the words “cut and paste” had a far more literal meaning — clips were fragments of newsprint, and laying them out required actual paste. One hundred years later our layout tools are a little more high-tech, but the paper still goes out every Friday morning to the cafeteria, the library, and Vollum Lecture Hall, as well as other academic buildings around campus. 

For those looking to get the paper faster, our website is updated every week with the latest news and events from around campus. The site is available at reedquest.org, and, in addition to the latest news, provides access to our archives of coverage from recent years. Complete versions of the archives going back to the first printing of the Quest are available in our office, GCC 047, and in the college library’s special collections archive.
