About the Quest

The Reed College Quest is the student-run newspaper of Reed College. The first edition of the Quest was printed in 1913. The print edition of the Quest currently publishes every Friday throughout the academic year. Archives of the Quest dating back to 1915 can be accessed on campus in the Student Publications Office. The Reed Library has a full set of Quests dating back to 1913.


Weekly Contributors Meetings

Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, GCC 047

If you have ever wanted to be a journalist, reporter, comic artist, photographer, or more, come join the Quest! No previous experience is necessary! Our contributors’ meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Student Publications Office (GCC 047). Come meet the editors, pitch us your story ideas, and hang out!

Open Editing Nights

Wednesdays from 5:00 PM–11:00 PM, GCC 047

In the interest of having a transparent editing process, we invite all Quest writers and Reed students to come observe our editing nights, every Wednesday starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Student Publications Office (GCC 047)!
